2011

I was thinking where I was at this time last year...and A LOT has changed. I am almost done with Hair school...I got a promotion at work :) and I am single. Never thought that last one would come.

I thought that the holidays were going to be hard being alone but in fact it was actually A LOT more fun then last Christmas. I now know that the relationship was not meant to be! I have come a long way in the past 10 months and I am SO happy to finally be happy again! I feel like my old self again but with a new look on life. 

Today is my last day of work this year and I must say that I am PRETTY much excited :) haha

I start my senior semester on January 9th....I am freaking out a bit but I am so excited to be almost be done and closer to working in a salon! 

I think that 2012 will be the best year yet! I will start my last semester in Hair school (since I haven't mentioned it 3 other times...did you know I am almost done with hair school?), maybe my parents house will finally sell and we will move, find a salon job to go along with my current job, go to New York, go pick up my little missionary Bro in Washington, and work on saving money. (that last one needs help)

So I am ready to be a better person and make better choices!!!! GOOD BYE 2011!!! You were my cursed year but I learned a lot from you!!!!!!!! PS I NEVER want to see you again.

Recent things...

Can you say stressed out?

I am so stressed out...but not at the same time...
it's weird...
Here's whats been going down....
Financial Aid: So far in school I've been able to pay for school and it's been awesome. I haven't had to take out a student loan or anything. Well I decided that to get done faster I could do more school and less work. So slowly I've been working that way, but now I know that next semester I can't pay for it. So I apply for financial aid. IT SUCKS!
I filled out the contact info for my self then it asks for my parents tax info. It takes about 2 days for my Mom to find her info and put it in. No problem until it comes to my tax stuff. I go to get it and realize that I put my 2010 Tax info in storage. So guess who gets to go to the storage unit and go through boxes until she finds her info...me. Plus while I'm there I have to pee SOOO bad. But I don't want leave. So while I do a potty dance I go through boxes. Luck for me me I find it and speed home to pee. Yes I almost peed my pants.
FINALLY I get the info submitted and find out I don't qualify for a grant, whoopie. I knew that. 
I wait for info from SLCC to get back to me...so I fill out all this paper work and send it in. But I notice a red flag on the page that shows I have too many credit hours for them to give me a loan without a academic advisor sending in an appeal. So guess what I'm in the process of doing...an appeal. wish me luck.

Feel Like POO....Look Like POO.

While I sit here at work freezing my butt off and blowing my nose I think...

Well...I'm back and I'm sorry. I know I ahould update and stop abandoning my blog but I get busy then to get caught up would be a pain so I don't so it then it gets worse. So I'm back and sick. I need orange juice and my bed.

something is wrong with me

I think something is wrong with me...
I hate people.
I never hate people esspecially new people. But today and all last week I do.
It sucks. I've been in a bad mood for a solid week now.
I try really hard not to be but I still am.
I keep hoping that I will get better once I start school Monday...
I LOVE school! or hair which ever.
So hopefully once I start doing hari again it will get better.
Yesterday I cut my Brother in law's ahir and my mom's hair and I felt SO happy.
I think I need hair in my life to be happy. Good thing School in soon!!!!

It is near.........

2011 International convention is less then a week away....I'm not going to lie...I'm kinda scared! haha NOT!
Every year towards the end of August my work throws a convention for all their Distributors  to get together for trainings, and big announcements. It's lots of fun and LOTS of work...which means OVER TIME!!!! Hooray!! :)
This year I am working at Corporate giving Distributors a tour of the building, as well as a cashier at the Convention store, and a hostest at the Awards ceremony. Which means that I get to dress up all fancy like :)
We get 3 shirts and we have to wear them on certain days...one is a lime green polo...not sure how I feel about that yet. Lot's of fun pictures to come :) Wish me luck and LOTS of energy!!!! :)

Sugar-Free

So recently I've been getting fat.

And I don't like it. Nope not one bit!

So I've decided that I need to work out. Period.

My work has a gym...I need to use it!

I've cut caffine and soda out of the diet which I hope helps.
Then yesterday I had SO many sweets that I'm sure I gained A BILLION pounds!
So I decided that I am cutting sugar from my diet as well.

Yep starting tomorrow because I forgot and Brendon at work gave me 2 little lemon heads...opps

I remembered when I was eating the 2nd one.

So NO more sugar from now on!!!!
I know this one will be alot harder :(
I have also cut out fast food since about 2 weeks a go :)
I am proud of my self...now hopefully I have the will power!
Does anyone have good ideas for foods that are healthy????

MY quilt this time! NOT his!!!!

I think I am officially going CRAZY! I've been on break for about a week now and I can't handle it anymore. I need something to keep me sane. Not necessarily go back to school right now cause I need a break but I need something to do. So last night to keep my busy and less crazy I watched Grey's Anatomy and cleaned my already REALLY clean room. (that is how bad I'm going crazy) As I was going through all my clothes I found some jeans that don't fit and some old T-shirts from High school and Snow that are falling apart. So i decided to make myself a quilt made of Levi and t-shirts. Last year around this time when my EX was "away" for a while I decided that for his birthday I would make him a Levi quilt. it was SUPER cute and I loved it but I don't think he liked it. He was only into computer crap and video games...so quilt to him was stupid. While I was cutting up my Levi yesterday I thought about how I should have taken it when I went over there to give him his stuff back. But then I would only think of him every time i saw or used it. So I decided to make my own quilt only BETTER!!! I think I'm a bit bitter because tomorrow is the 6 month mark of my singleness and Saturday the 20th is "his" birthday.
Anyway back to MY quilt so far I need 16 more squares of Levi to sew them together...anyone want to donate there old Levi to my cause??? If so let me know!!!! :)

Crazy, Stupid, Love

Yep one of the best movie's I've seen this summer! Well.....I've only seen about 2.5 movies that are new so....but I still loved it!
Went and saw it with the BEAUTIFUL Ashley and let me just say that Ryan Gosling is HOT! Holy Crap!!!! Everyone should just see that movie just to look at him without his shirt off!!!!
